Amendment made – KCC advised times should be 20.00-05.00
Urgent Road Closure – A299 Thanet Way, London Bound Only, Herne Bay, Chestfield and Whitstable
21st April 2023 (Canterbury)
It will be necessary to close A299 Thanet Way, London Bound Only, Herne Bay, Chestfield and Whitstable from 21st April 2023 for up to 1 night.
The road will be closed between the Eddington off slip and Whitstable on slip.
The alternative route is via A299 Eddington off slip, A291 Canterbury Road, A2990 Thanet Way Westbound, A291 Clapham Hill and A299 Thanet Way on slip.
It is planned that the road will be closed between 20:00 hrs and 05:00 hrs.
This is to enable the installation of varioguard safety equipment to be carried out by Kent County Council.
