The Herne Centre is a community hub serving the residents of Herne and Broomfield.
It was built by the Parish Council, in response to public consultation, to provide a local, modern, accessible and environmentally friendly building for community use. It took 15 years to come to fruition and was opened in June 2018. The process involved a great deal of time and community input. The council are very proud of the results as it is a wonderful community asset.
The Centre provides access to activities that would not otherwise be available, as well as providing a venue suitable for weddings, parties, meetings and conferences. It also provides a permanent home for the Parish Office.
