We have been notified by KCC a change to the road closure date:
It will be necessary to close Lower Herne Road, Herne from 22nd April 2026 for up to 1 day.
The road will be closed at between Ash Close and the junction of Bullockstone Road.
The alternative route is via Bullockstone Road, A291 Canterbury Road, Herne Street, Canterbury Road and vice versa.
This is to enable carriageway repairs to be carried out by Kent County Council.
