Kent County Council – Urgent Road Closure – Margate Road, Herne – 21st May 2026
It will be necessary to close Margate Road, Herne from 21st May 2026 for up to 1 day.
The road will be closed at the exit into Margate Road south of Thanet Way.
The alternative route is via A299 Thanet Way slip towards Herne Bay, Mill Lane, Hunters Forstal Road, Margate Road and vice versa.
This is to enable carriageway patching to be carried out by Kent County Council.
