Emergency Road Closure – A299 Thanet Way – Coastbound only, Broomfield – 5th December 2022 (Canterbury)
It will be necessary to close A299 Thanet Way – Coastbound only, Broomfield from 5th December 2022 for up to 11 nights.
The road will be closed Coast Bound between the Eddington off slip and Margate Road interchange on slip.
The alternative route is via A291 Canterbury Road, Calcott Hill, Herne Bay Road, A28 Island Road, Staines Hill, Island Road, Canterbury Road and A299 Thanet Way.
It is planned that the road will be closed between 19:00 hrs and 06:00 hrs each night.
This is to enable Kent County Council to repair undulations in the carriageway.
