Officers from the Community Policing Team have made an arrest of a juvenile male under investigation for 4 offences in the Herne Bay area. The suspect had been identified for offences which include theft of a motor vehicle, theft, vehicle interference and possession of an offensive weapon.
The offence of vehicle interference happened in the evening of 14th March 2023 within the new Redrow Estate off the Thanet Way in Herne Bay (reference 46/47489/23).
The moped had been stolen from the town centre on the 8th March 2023 (reference 46/46028/23).
The male has been bailed pending further enquiries with strict conditions.
