Amendment – Urgent Road Closure – Canterbury Hill, Canterbury
18th April 2023 (Canterbury)
It will be necessary to close Canterbury Hill, Canterbury from 18th April 2023 for up to 1 night.
The road will be closed between the junctions of Giles Lane and Calais Hill.
The alternative route is via St Stephens Hill, Forty Acres Road, Beaconsfield Road, A290 Whitstable Road, St Thomas Hill, A290 Whitstable Road, Tile Kiln Hill, Blean Hill, Blean Common, Tyler Hill Road, Calais Hill and vice versa.
The environmental weight limit on Forty Acres Road and Tyler Hill Road is to be suspended.
It is planned that the road will be closed between 20:00hrs and 05:00hrs.
This is to enable carriageway patching to be carried out by Kent County Council.
