O2 (UK) Limited – Temporary Road Closure – Margate Road, Herne
19th January 2024 (Canterbury District)
Due to works planned to be undertaken by O2 (UK) Limited, it will be necessary to close part of Margate Road, Herne from 19th January 2024, for up to one day, between the hours of 08.00 and 18.00.
The road will be closed from the A299 Thanet Way off-slip to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
There will also be a lane closure on A299 Thanet Way off-slip for the safety of the public and workforce
The alternative route for any through traffic:-
South Bound is via A299 Thanet Way, Mill Lane, Hunters Forstal Road and Margate Road.
North Bound is via Margate Road, Hunters Forstal Road and Mill Lane.
Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while maintenance works are undertaken by O2 (UK) Limited.
