Emergency Road Closure – Margate Road, Herne – 2nd January 2024 (Canterbury)
It will be necessary to close Margate Road, Herne from 2nd January 2024 for up to 8 days.
The road will be closed outside 36a Margate Road.
The alternative route is via:
Northbound – Hunters Forstal Road, Mill Lane, School Lane, Canterbury Road, A299 Thanet Way on-slip and Margate Road Interchange.
Southbound – Margate Road A299 Thanet Way Eddington off-slip, Canterbury Road, School Lane, Mill Lane and Hunters Forstal Road.
This is to enable emergency gas escape works to be carried out by SGN.
