It will be necessary to close School Lane, Herne from 13th March 2024 for up to 3 days.
The road will be closed outside 18 School Lane.
The alternative route is via:
Northeast bound – A291 Canterbury Road, A299 Thanet Way, Margate Road Interchange, Margate Road, Hunters Forstal Road, Mill Lane and School Lane.
Southwest bound – School Lane, Mill Lane, A299 Thanet Way and A291 Canterbury Road.
This is to enable water pipe repairs to be carried out by South East Water.
