Herne and Broomfield Parish Council will be celebrating the 80th Anniversary of the D Day landings at the Herne Centre on Tuesday 6th June. (Timings to be confirmed).
This is a free community event and we would love to get the local community involved.
We will be offering afternoon tea with the event times to coincide with the live broadcast from The British Normandy Memorial at Ver-Sur-Mer, Normandy.
We will be constructing displays so we would love to have any copies of pictures, memorabilia, memories, stories, absolutely anything that could help us we would be hugely grateful for.
