It will be necessary to close A299 Thanet Way, Herne Bay from 20th November 2024 for up to 1 night.
The road will be closed within the dedicated London bound (westbound) off slip to Eddington/Herne Bay.
The alternative route is – Continue on A299 Thanet Way London bound, Exit A299 Thanet Way at Whitstable/Clapham Hill off slip, A290 Clapham Hill, A2990 Thanet Way eastbound, re-join A299 Thanet Way coastbound, exit A299 Thanet Way at coastbound exit slip to Herne Bay/Eddington interchange, A291 Canterbury Road.
It is planned that the road will be closed between 19:00 hrs and 05:00 hrs.
This is to enable carriageway repairs to be carried out by Kent County Council.
