We have been made aware that over the weekend someone has had a small fire on a footpath on the border of the fields at Lower Herne. This issue with this is because of all the dry weather our Parish is at a high risk or very high risk of wildfires. The dry grass and crops from this current dry spell leaves us particularly susceptible. Please can all be vigilant and ensure you educate your children in the risks associated with starting fires.
