Please see the posters about our Eco Event that is being held at the Herne Centre on Sunday 29th September 1pm – 5pm.
There is a trash to treasure competition which you can start NOW. Make a sea creature out of items that would have been thrown away for a chance to win a prize. There are three age categories, and all items will be displayed at the Herne Centre. All entries must be handed in to the Herne Centre by Friday 27th September.
There is also a puppet show called Stories in the Dust, this is a 50 minutes children’s adventure tale and available for £5 a ticket and starts at 2pm.
There is also an opportunity for a puppet workshop after the show for £3 per person. The workshop is an hour long and you can make a puppet from the show, you don’t have to attend the show to go to the workshop.
NUMBERS FOR THE WORKSHOP AND SHOW ARE LIMITED
There will be art work displayed from Broomfield Art, the HuB cafe open for cakes, snacks and drinks, as well as plant a bean.
