Emergency Road Closure – A291 Calcott Hill, Sturry

3rd January 2023 (Canterbury)

It will be necessary to close A291 Calcott Hill, Sturry from 3rd January 2023 for up to 8 days.

The road will be closed between the Punch Tavern Pub to outside Long Shaw Farm.

The alternative route is via A291 Herne Bay Road, A291 Canterbury Road, A291 Herne Street, A291 Canterbury Road, A299 Thanet Way, St Nicholas at Wade roundabout. A28 Canterbury Road, A28 Island Road, A28 Staines Hill, A28 Island Road, A291 Sturry Hill, A291 Herne Bay and vice versa.

This is to enable carriageway maintenance to be carried out by Kent County Council.
