Emergency Road Closure – A299 Thanet Way, Whitstable, Chestfield, Herne Bay and Herne and Broomfield – Coast Bound only – 5th September 2022 (Canterbury)
It will be necessary to close A299 Thanet Way, Whitstable, Chestfield, Herne Bay and Herne and Broomfield – Coast Bound only from 5th September 2022 for up to 5 nights between the hours of 19:00 and 06:00.
The road will be closed between the Whitstable off slip and Eddington on Slip.
The alternative route is via A2990 Thanet Way, A291 Canterbury Road.
This is to enable Urgent safety critical works to repair undulations within the carriageway to be carried out by Kent County Council.
