UK POWER NETWORKS WORKS
It will be necessary to close School Lane, Herne from 8th February 2025 for up to 7 days.
The road will be closed at number 5.
The alternative routes are via:
Northeast bound is via the A291 Canterbury Road, A299 Thanet Way, Margate Road Interchange, Margate Road, Hunters Forstal Road, Mill Lane and School Lane.
Southwest bound is via School Lane, Mill Lane, A299 Thanet Way and A291 Canterbury Road.
This is to enable underground cabling repairs to be carried out by UK Power Networks.
