It will be necessary to close School Lane, Herne Bay from 15th August 2023 for up to 8 days.
The road will be closed outside 32 School Lane.
The alternative route is via:
Southwest bound – Mill Lane, A299 Thanet Way, A291 Canterbury Road.
Northeast bound – A291 Herne Street, Canterbury Road, A299 Thanet Way, Margate Road Interchange, Margate Road, Hunters Forstal Road, Mill Lane.
This is to enable emergency gas escape works to be carried out by SGN.
