Emergency Road Closure – Sweechgate, Broad Oak

14th April 2023 (Canterbury)

It will be necessary to close Sweechgate, Broad Oak from 14th April 2023 for up to 6 days.

The road will be closed outside 1, Sweechgate.

The alternative route is via Sweechgate, Shalloak Road, Vauxhall Road, A28 Sturry Road, Mill Road, A291 Sturry Hill, Herne Bay Road and vice versa.

Please note, the environmental weight restriction in Shalloak Road & Sweechgate will be suspended.

This is to enable water pipe repairs to be carried out by South East Water.
