Temporary 30 mph Speed Restriction – A28 Ashford Road, Chartham – 17th February 2023 (Canterbury District)
It will be necessary to impose a temporary 30 mph speed restriction on A28 Ashford Road, Chartham from 17th February 2023, with estimated completion by 27th March 2023.
The temporary mandatory 30 mph speed restriction will be imposed at the 40mph sign heading Westbound, just before the junction with Station Road, up to the 50mph sign adjacent to the cemetery car park, to the extent indicated by signage on site.
The restriction is required to ensure pedestrian safety is maintained whilst a temporary crossing is in place.
