Only a few weeks to go to our treasure Hunt and preloved toy and baby item fair here at the Herne Centre.
Half the funds raised from the treasure hunt will be given to Macmillan Cancer Support which is a great charity who supported Jo and family when she went through her cancer treatment last year, as well as many others in the area.
Maps are only £5 per family. It will lead you on a treasure hunt around the village, solving clues to complete your map. Once its completed hand it in for a chance to win a bag of prizes. There are 2 route choices (one shorter than the other) so all age groups can take part. There is a prize for the best dressed pirate too! Maps go on sale on Monday 30th June (but it wont be able to be completed before) or you can buy one on the day at the Herne Centre.
We still have tables available for the preloved toy and baby fair – come and sell your old toys and baby items to get some much needed money for the summer holidays and help local families at the same time.
