Herne and Broomfield Local History Group meet on the first Tuesday of each month at 7pm at St Martins Hall (opposite Strode Park) Visitors £3 members are free.

Tuesday 3rd March – One lane two parishes, Carol Davis’ research on Braggs Lane discovering families who once lived in this rural part of the Parish.
Tuesday 7th April – a short walk on a long pier. Margaret Burns looks at the history of, and life around, Herne Bay’s three piers.
Tuesday 5th May – Ramsgate Tunnels. Lynn Turner reveals stories from the tunnels.
