(This is only closed from the Willow Farm Way Roundabout to the A299 slip, roundabout will be open)
Due to works planned to be undertaken by Kent County Council, it will be necessary to close part of Margate Road, Herne from 25th November 2024, with estimated completion by 26th November 2024, between the hours of 21:00 and 04:00.
The road will be closed from the Willow Farm Way Roundabout, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Margate Road, A299 Thanet Way, Mill Lane, Hunters Forstal Road and vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
This closure is in conjunction with a lane closure on A299 Thanet Way Off Slip.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while street light works are undertaken by Kent County Council.
