KENT RESIDENT TARGETED BY ONLINE WEBSITE SCAM
The resident used an online company to purchase a range cooker. When the item was not delivered the scammers said an error had occurred and the product was delivered to an address in Scotland. They offered a goodwill gesture whilst the delivery was redirected and asked for banking details if a refund was required
Fearing this was a scam the resident did not give any financial information, they asked for a refund and contacted their bank who are now investigating.

We have received multiple complaints regarding counterfeit ‘popular energy drink’ products being made available in shops and online via social media.

We have had multiple reports of counterfeit electrical items, like phone chargers and batteries, being sold on online marketplaces. The Cost of Living crisis is making us all look for cheaper items. Please do not risk your safety by buying counterfeit goods.
