National Tree Week 27th November until 5th December 2021
This week is National Tree Week and you may remember that the parish council asked residents to tell us about their Treasured Trees early last year, to inform our Parish Tree Strategy.
We have began mapping the trees you think are important in our area and we would love to hear from more residents. We would really appreciate your help with this.
- Is there a tree that is significant to you?
- Do you have an important memory attached to a particular tree?
- Is there an ancient or mature tree that you really like in our area or one of special interest?
- Do you know of any trees that may be at risk?
- Are there any old hedges that you think are important?
Our Parish Tree Wardens would also like to hear resident’s ideas, about where they would like to see more trees or wild flowers planted in our parish.
It would be very helpful if you were able to include a grid reference or postcode.
