Drivers are being asked to check dashcams following a serious collision on the A2 near Canterbury.

Officers are appealing for information after two women were taken to hospital with multiple injuries, after the incident on Friday 12 April, on the Boughton Bypass.

The women had been travelling in a red Peugeot 207, which left the London-bound carriageway and ended in a verge.

At around 9.40pm the vehicle was seen by a passing police officer, and other patrols then attended along with ambulance crews.

The driver and passenger were taken to a London hospital. Their injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
