Strike action – 5th, 7th & 9th November

Message from Southeastern

Strike action is due to take place on our network on the following dates:

  • Saturday 5 November
  • Monday 7 November
  • Wednesday 9 November

There is also strike action affecting Transport for London services. You can find out more information on the TfL website.

Saturday 5 November

  • There will be a limited service running and some routes and stations will be closed. Please only travel by train if absolutely necessary. If you are travelling expect severe disruption, plan ahead and check your entire journey.
  • Only 45 out of 180 Southeastern stations will be open. No rail replacement buses will serve stations that are closed.
  • You may be unable to board trains at stations where a limited service is running, especially at locations such as Ashford and Ebbsfleet.
  • The last trains back from London will be much earlier than usual.
  • Below is our service availability map. Timetables will be published on our website shortly, and journey planners will be updated from Tuesday 1 November.

Sunday 6 November

  • If you are travelling on the day after strike action our services can’t run until 07.00 when Network Rail staff begin their shifts.
  • First trains may be busy, and queueing systems could be in place to manage space on trains, so please plan ahead, check your entire journey and allow extra time.
  • Timetables will be published on our website shortly, and journey planners will be updated from Tuesday 1 November.

Monday 7 November

Refunds and ticketing

Ticket holders can apply for a refund if they do not travel.

If you do travel and were delayed for 15 minutes or more, you are entitled to Delay Repay compensation.
