Knowing what scams, doorstep criminals or unsafe goods are on the market can help keep you safe. Make sure you tell friends, relatives and neighbours. The cost-of-living crisis makes everyone in Kent vulnerable. A resident paid £100 via PayPal through Friends and Family. They were told it would be sent the following day but they have never received it or heard anything more from seller. Report and get advice from Citizens Advice consumer helpline 0808 223 1133

We have again had a report of a Kent resident who was targeted by Driving Licence fraud.

The resident wanting to renew their driving licence was on a website that they thought was the legitimate one. But became aware that is was a scam one. Luckily they did so before entering any details..When renewing a driving license, always complete the application on the GOV.UK website: https://bit.ly/3BbD8W3, renewal costs start at £14.
