Suspicious Events

 

Kent Police have received several calls, primarily within the Herne Bay and Whitstable area, of unknown males ringing residents’ doorbells or knocking at their doors during the night. The suspects responsible usually have access to a vehicle nearby, possibly grey or silver. It is not clear what the intention of these males are so we are asking residents to be wary of responding to unexpected visitors between 2300 hours and 0600 hours overnight.

 

 

Some residents have reportedly opened the door and had a short exchange with an unknown male who has sworn at them before leaving the area. Kent Police would encourage residents not to open their door to unknown visitors at night and instead contact the Police to report any concerns.
