A talk on Ramsgate Tunnels by Lynn Turner, Manager of Ramsgate Tunnels Education Outreach on Tuesday 5th May – 7 pm start at St Martin’s Church Hall, Herne, CT6 7HE (opposite Strode Park)
Lynn will reveal stories of life in the tunnels from early days of WW2, when the system evolved into an underground city with over 1,000 permanent residents, to the exploits of later urban explorers.
Membership £15 pa – Visitors welcome at £3.
