Temporary Road Closure – A28 Sturry Road, Canterbury, (including the Asda Roundabout) – 28th September 2022 (Canterbury District)

It will be necessary to close part of A28 Sturry Road, Canterbury, (including the Asda Roundabout) from 28th September 2022 with estimated completion by 14th October 2022.

A28 Sturry Road (from the junction of B2248 Kingsmead Road Roundabout to the Asda Roundabout) will be closed between 20:00 hours and 05:00 hours from 28th September 2022 with estimated completion by 14th October 2022 (excluding weekends).

The Asda Roundabout will be closed between 18:00 hours and 05:00 hours on Sunday 2nd October 2022 and Sunday 9th October 2022.

The alternative route is B2248 Kingsmead Road, B2248 St Stephen’s Road Roundabout, Broad Oak Road, Vauxhall Road, A28 Sturry Road and vice versa.

The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway resurfacing works are undertaken by Kent County Council.
