Temporary Road Closure – A299 Thanet Way, Herne & Broomfield, & Mill Lane, Herne – 26th September 2022 (Canterbury District)

It will be necessary to close part of the A299 Thanet Way, Herne & Broomfield, and Mill Lane, Herne, from 26th September 2022 with estimated completion by 30th September 2022.

The A299 Thanet Way will be closed at its junction with Mill Lane, for a distance approximately 80 metres in a Westerly direction and for a distance approximately 130 metres in an Easterly direction, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

Mill Lane will be closed outside number 2, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any Northbound traffic is via Mill Lane, Hunters Forstal Road, Margate Road and the A299 Thanet Way.

The alternative route for any Southbound traffic is via the A299 Thanet Way, A299 Thanet Way Off Slip, A291 Canterbury Road, Mill View Road and Mill Lane.

The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while utility works are undertaken by Trooli.
