Temporary Road Closure – Borstal Hill, Whitstable

It will be necessary to close part of Borstal Hill, Whitstable from 14th August 2023, with estimated completion by 16th August 2023, between the hours of 20.00 and 05.00.
Borstal Hill, Whitstable will be closed in the vicinity of Kwik Fit, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic (excluding HGVs & large vehicles) is B2205 Canterbury Road, Oxford Street, High Street, Horsebridge Road, Sea Street, Harbour Street, Tower Parade, Tankerton Road, Bennells Avenue, Herne Bay Road, A2990 Thanet Way, B2205 Borstal Hill and vice versa.
The alternative route for HGVs and large vehicles is via B2205 Canterbury Road, Oxford Street, Tower Parade, Tankerton Road, Bennells Avenue, Herne Bay Road, St Johns Road, Whitstable Road, Sea Street, Greenhill Bridge Road, A2990 Thanet Way, B2205 Borstal Hill and vice versa.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while repair works are undertaken by South East Water.
