Temporary Road Closure – Canterbury Half Marathon – 29th August 2022 (Canterbury District)

It will be necessary to close various roads in Canterbury, from 29th August 2022 for up to 1 day between 09:30 hours and 13:00 hours.

The following roads will be closed between the hours of 09:30 – 10:15 & 11:15 – 13:00, as listed below:

Merton Lane, Lower Hardres, will be closed for the entire length.
Iffin Lane, Thangington Without, will be closed at its junction with Hollow Lane and New House Lane.
The following roads will be closed between the hours of 10:00 and 12:30, as listed below:

New House Lane, Thanington Without, will be closed for the entire length.
Swarling Hill Road, Petham, will be closed for the entire length.
Watery Lane, Petham, will be closed for the entire length.
Town Road, Petham, will be closed between the junctions of Watery Lane and The Street.
The Street, Petham, will be closed at its junction with Town Road and Vicarage Hill.
It will also be necessary to place temporary traffic signals out on Chartham Downs Road at the junctions with New House Lane.

The closures are required for the safety of the public and participants while the Canterbury Half Marathon is held by Nice Work.
