Temporary Road Closure – Herne Bay Race for Life 2022 – 25th June 2022 (Canterbury District)

It will be necessary to prohibit waiting and through traffic on various roads in Herne Bay.

The following roads will be closed on 26th June 2022 between the hours of 09:30 and 12:30, with closures lifted as soon as it is safe to do so.

Hampton Pier Avenue, Herne Bay – closed between the junctions with West Cliff Drive and Western Esplanade.
Western Esplanade, Herne Bay – closed from the junction with Hampton Pier Avenue to the junction with Harcourt Drive.
Chamberlain Drive, Herne Bay – closed at its junction with Hampton Pier Avenue.
West Cliff Drive, Herne Bay – closed at its junction with Hampton Pier Avenue.
Swalecliffe Avenue, Herne Bay – closed for its entire length.
It will be necessary to impose temporary parking suspensions on Hampton Pier Avenue, Herne Bay from its junction with West Cliff Drive to the junction with Western Esplanade.

The parking restriction will be in imposed from Saturday 25th June 2022 at 18:00 until Sunday 26th June 2022 at 12:30.

The restrictions are required for the safety of the public and workforce while the Herne Bay Race for Life event is held by Cancer Research UK.
