Temporary Road Closure – Mill Road, Sturry

It will be necessary to close part of Mill RoadSturry from 5th March 2023 at 02:15, with estimated completion by 6th March 2023 at 04:15.

Mill RoadSturry will be closed in the general vicinity of the level crossing, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via A291 Sturry Hill, Herne Bay Road, Calcott Hill, Canterbury Road, Herne Street, A299 Thanet Way, Westbound Slip Onto Wraik Hill Roundabout From A299, A290 Clapham Hill, Pean Hill, Honey Hill, Blean Common, Blean Hill, Whitstable Road, St Thomas Hill, London Road, A290 Rheims Way, St Peters Roundabout, A28 Wincheap Green, Pin Hill, Rhodaus Town, Riding Gate Roundabout, Upper Bridge Street, St George’s Roundabout, Lower Bridge Street, Broad Street, Military Road, Tourtel Road, Sturry Road, Mill Road, Water Lane and vice versa.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while level crossing drainage works and other associated works are undertaken by Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd.
