Temporary Road Closure – Station Road, Kings Road & Western Avenue, Herne Bay – 15th August 2022 (Canterbury District)
It will be necessary to close part of Station Road, Kings Road & Western Avenue, Herne Bay, between 20:00 hours and 05:30 hours from 15th August 2022 with estimated completion by 21st August 2022.
The road closures lengths and diversion routes are detailed below:
Station Road will be closed at its junction with Kings Road and Western Avenue, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Spencer Road, B2205 Canterbury Road, B2205 High Street and vice versa.
Kings Road will be closed at its junction with Station Road, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Richmond Street, B2205 High Street, B2205 Avenue Road and B2205 Sea Street.
Western Avenue will be closed at its junction with Station Road, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Pier Avenue, B2205 Avenue Road, B2205 High Street, B2205 Canterbury Road and Kings Road.
The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while mini roundabout resurfacing works are undertaken by Kent County Council.
