Urgent Road Closure – A299 Thanet Way, Whitstable – Eastbound only – 29th August 2023 (Canterbury)
It will be necessary to close A299 Thanet Way, Whitstable – Eastbound only from 29th August 2023 for up to 1 night.
The road will be closed at Dargate Services Coastbound.
The alternative route is via A2 A2050 Brenley Corner roundabout, A2 Boughton ByPass, A2 Dover Road, Harbledown Slip Eastbound off, A2050 Harbledown ByPass, Palmars Cross Hill, Rough Common Road, A290 Whitstable Road, Tile Kiln Hill, Blean Hill, Blean Common, Honey Hill, Pean Hill, Clapham Hill, A2990 Thanet Way, A299 Thanet Way on Slip East Bound.
It is planned that the road will be closed between 20:00 hrs and 05:00 hrs.
Please note, the environmental weight limit on Palmars Cross Hill and Rough Common Road will be suspended.
This is to enable carriageway patching to be carried out by Kent County Council.
