UPDATE: Please note, this closure has been extended until the 18th December 2023.
Emergency Road Closure – Western Avenue, Herne Bay – 7th December 2023 (Canterbury)
It will be necessary to close Western Avenue, Herne Bay from 7th December 2023 for up to 12 days.
The road will be closed outside 27 Western Avenue.
The alternative route is via Bullers Avenue, Albany Drive and Oxenden Park Drive.
This is to enable emergency gas escape works to be carried out by SGN.
