Urgent Road Closure – A299 Thanet Way, London Bound only, Herne Bay and Whitstable

14th December 2022 (Canterbury)

It will be necessary to close A299 Thanet Way, London Bound only, Herne Bay and Whitstable from 14th December 2022 for up to 1 night.

The road will be closed between the junctions of Eddington off slip and Whitstable on slip.

The alternative route is to exit A299 Eddington off slip, A2990 Thanet Way Westbound, re-join A299 Thanet Way at the Whitstable on slip.

It is planned that the road will be closed between 19:30 hrs and 6:00 hrs.

This is to enable urgent undulation repairs in the carriageway to be carried out by Kent County Council.
