Urgent Road Closure – Reculver Road, Herne Bay

16th December 2022 (Canterbury)

It will be necessary to close Reculver Road, Herne Bay from 16th December 2022 for up to 1 night.

The road will be closed between the junctions of Roseberry Avenue and Richmond Drive.

The alternative routes are via:

Eastbound – Reculver Road, Sweechbridge Road, Heart in Hand Road, A299 Thanet Way, Margate Road, Margate Road Interchange, Margate Road, Mickleburgh Hill and Reculver Road.

Westbound – Reculver Road, Mickleburgh Hill, Margate Road, A299 Thanet Way, Sweechbridge Road, May Street and Sweechbridge Road.

It is planned that the road will be closed between 19:30 hrs and 05:00 hrs.

This is to enable carriageway patching to be carried out by Kent County Council.
