Emergency Road Closure – Thanet Way, Whitstable – 25th November 2021 (Canterbury)
It will be necessary to close Thanet Way, Whitstable from 25th November 2021.
Due to the amount of consequential damage to the carriageway it is anticipated the road will be closed until 3rd December.
The road is closed to Westbound traffic only between the junction with Clapham Hill and the business park.
The alternative route is via Clapham Hill, A299 Thanet Way, Highstreet Road, Plumpudding Lane and back onto the Thanet Way.
This is to enable burst water main repairs to be carried out by South East Water.
