Kent Wildlife Trust – Wilder Blean Project events and updates
We have two free events, that the Wilder Blean project will be hosting, at West Blean & Thornden Woods in the coming weeks.
On Saturday 2nd October we will be running a Big Blean Dog Walk with the Dogs Trust. This should be a fun event for dogs and their owners to enjoy the woods and meet others. Tickets are available by following the link to Big Blean Dog Walk. Please also see the Blean Dog Walk Poster.
On Saturday 9th October we will be running a Wilder Blean Wildlife Fete. The fete will have stalls from different wildlife/conservation organisations working around the blean, children’s activities, and mini tours of the new infrastructure work going on in the blean, such as where the new fencing will be. Finally, we really want to make communication about the project as thorough and clear as possible. To help this we are setting up a newsletter about the project, specifically for local residents from around the blean woods. The first newsletter will go out in October. To sign up to the newsletter individuals just need to email blean@wilderkent.org.uk.
