


Yesterday Police Officers from Canterbury Community Safety Unit, Dog Unit (drugs dog) and British Transport Police took part in a joint operation to disrupt serious violence and associated offences in Canterbury City Centre. As such, both uniformed and plain clothed Officers were utilised, whereby a total of:
– 21 Stop Searches were carried out
– 2 Community Resolutions
– 1 Crime detected and recorded (BTP)
– One disposal for a low level offence
The areas patrolled included:
– Dane John Gardens
– Canterbury West
– Canterbury East
– High Street
– Cathedral
