Due to works planned to be undertaken by Southern Water, it will be necessary to close part of Central Parade, Herne Bay from 3rd March 2026 with estimated completion by 4th March 2026, between the hours of 09:00 and 17:00, or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between numbers 124 and 135, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Central Parade, Lane End, B2205 Avenue Road, High Street, Canterbury Road and vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while frame and cover works are undertaken by Southern Water.
