Urgent Road Closure – A291 Herne Bay Road and Canterbury Road, Canterbury – 19th September 2021 (Canterbury)
It will be necessary to close A291 Herne Bay Road and Canterbury Road, Canterbury from 19th September 2021 for up to 1 night.
The road will be closed on a rolling basis between the junctions of Popes Lane and Busheyfields Road.
The alternative route is via A291 Sturry Hill, A28, Island Road, Canterbury Road, A299 Thanet Way, A291 Canterbury Road, Herne Street, Canterbury Road, Calcott Hill and Herne Bay Road.
It is planned that the road will be closed between 19:00 hrs and 05:00 hrs.
This is to enable carriageway maintenance to be carried out by Kent County Council.
