Free sandbag giveaway!
If you live in a property that is vulnerable to flooding, Canterbury City Council have free sandbags to give away, ready for you to fill with either sand or soil – both are equally effective.
You can go and collect up to 10 empty sandbags from the city council offices, on Friday 12 November between 10am and 2pm, at their staff car park in Military Road (at the rear of the building near to Canterbury Crown Court).
Please stay in your vehicle when you arrive and their officers will do the rest. No booking is required.
