Temporary Road Closure – Albion Lane and Ridgeway Road, Herne – 8th August 2022 (Canterbury District)
It will be necessary to close part of Albion Lane and Ridgeway Road, Herne, between 09:30 hours and 15:30 hours from 8th August 2022, with an estimated completion by 14th August 2022.
The roads will be closed as detailed below:
Albion Lane will be closed at its junction with Ridgeway Road, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
Ridgeway Road will be closed outside of number 54, for a distance approximately 100 metres in an Easterly direction, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route is Ridgeway Road, Busheyfields Road, A291 Canterbury Road, A291 Herne Street, Albion Lane, Forgefields, and vice versa.
A local diversion will be in place for residents East of Albion Lane.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while utility works are undertaken by Openreach.
