Urgent Road Closure – A299 Thanet Way, Whitstable – Westbound only – 30th August 2023 (Canterbury)
It will be necessary to close A299 Thanet Way, Whitstable – Westbound only from 30th August 2023 for up to 1 night.
The road will be closed adjacent to Yorkletts off slip Londonbound.
The alternative route is via A299 off Slip Westbound to Wraik Hill roundabout, A290 Clapham Hill, Pean Hill, Honey Hill, Blean Common, Blean Hill, Tile Kiln Hill, Whitstable Road, Rough Common Road, Palmars Cross Hill, A2050 Harbledown ByPass, Harbledown slip Westbound on, A2 Dover Road and A2 Boughton ByPass.
It is planned that the road will be closed between 20:00 hrs and 05:00 hrs.
Please note, the environmental weight limit on Palmars Cross Hill & Rough Common Road will be suspended.
This is to enable carriageway patching to be carried out by Kent County Council.
