Urgent Road Closure – A299 Thanet Way, Herne and Broomfield – 15th August 2024
It will be necessary to close A299 Thanet Way, Herne and Broomfield from 15th August 2024 for up to 1 night.
This will be a Slip Road closure at the A299 Off slip to Broomfield, East Bound.
The alternative route is via A299 Thanet Way, Sweechbridge Road, Maystreet, Heart In Hand Road, A299 Thanet Way, Margate Road, Margate Road Interchange.
It is planned that the road will be closed between 20:00 hrs and 23:59 hrs.
This is to enable carriageway maintenance to be carried out by Kent County Council.
